โฆ Synopsis
The bound states of p holes are studied within the two-dimensional two-band model with the antiferromagnetic exchange interaction between d and p spins, J. The binding energies of p holes are computed as a function of the Cu-O transfer and one of J within the mean-field theory with the periodic boundary condition. It is negative for the value of the Cu-O hopping not around that of the O-O one and the amplitude of spin density at each Cu site is small, as a result, p holes pair in a singlet state .
