Abstract
Accurate variational energies have been calculated for three lowest sigma states of the HeH^+^ ion. This includes the ground state (5 ≤ R ≤ 9 a.u.) which dissociates into He + H^+^, as well as the A ^1^Σ^+^ state (4 ≤ R ≤ 10) and the a ^3^Σ^+^ state (3 ≤ R ≤ 10) which both dissociate into He^+^ + H. The variational results are compared with those obtained using a perturbation theory expansion.

## Abstract The energy of the hydrogen molecule in the __B__ ^1^Σ state, for internuclear separations 12 ≦ __R__ ≦ 20 a.u., has been computed using an 80‐term variational wave function depending explicitly on the interelectronic distance. The same type of wave function has been employed in the pert
The interaction energy between two hydrogen atoms in the D and D' 'II,, states of the hydrogen molecule has been calculated for large internuclear distances (12 =G R 4 25 bohr). The variational method and a very flexible trial wavefunction wece used. The results indicate-that far the states under co
Low temperature specific heat measurements were performed in order to obtain information about the magnetic ordering effects in NdBa2Cu3Ox (Nd123x) and DyBa2Cu3Ox (Dy123x) In the specific heat of both system a strong oxygen dependence was observed. While for Nd123x the shape and the position of the
