Incompatibility of hole-filling and pair
✍ Howard A. Blackstead; John D. Dow 📂 Article 📅 1995 🏛 Elsevier Science 🌐 English ⚖ 134 KB

R-site magnetic rare-earth ions in superconducting \(\mathrm{RBa}_{2} \mathrm{Cu}_{3} \mathrm{O}_{7-\delta}\) cannot both fill holes and break pairs. Therefore the observation of both phenomena implies that some rare-earth ions occupy sites other than the \(\mathrm{R}\)-sites, presumably Ba sites.

Transport critical currents and flux pin
✍ Y. Yang; C. Beduz; Z. Yi; R.G. Scurlock 📂 Article 📅 1992 🏛 Elsevier Science 🌐 English ⚖ 579 KB

The critical current and flux pinning properties of melt grown YBa2Cu3OT\_6 bulk material were investigated by transport measurements and V-I characteristics. A J¢ of 16 000 A cm -2 in zero field and 3000 A cm -2 in 1 T at 77 K was obtained using a criterion of 3.3 I~V cm-~. No features of granulari
