AFSANEH AFGHARI, MSc of midwifery has participated in more than 30 research projects and papers. Recently she has completed PhD of reproductive health. She is a lecturer in nursing and midwifery school of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences.
SOUDABEH AMINI is a health education expert in Isfahan University of Medical Sciences since 3 years ago. She holds a master's degree in community health nursing from the same university. Her main educational activity is administration of inservice training of health workers and health experts.
JAGAT BASNET joined New ERA in 1979 and has worked since then as a team leader in a number of research studies, action research and community development activities. As such he was involved in numerous surveys and evaluation studies; he helped the Government of Nepal's Department of Health Services in designing HMIS formats for recording and reporting of hospital/OPD data under its monitoring system; and conducted quality audits of monitoring systems of various government and non-government organizations. He oversaw all field activities and participated actively in the tool development of the study presented in this paper. He was a part of the Global Fund Country Partnership Assessment in Nepal in July 2007.
