A unified symmetrical theory of DNA sequences has been established based on the basic symmetry of the DNA bases. It is shown that the symmetry of DNA sequences is inherently related to that of a cube and its inscribed regular tetrahedron. A DNA group is defined as a particular alternating group of o

Abstract
We constructed six new models to analyze the DNA sequences. First, we regarded a DNA primary sequence as a random process in t and gave three ways to define nucleotides' random distribution functions. We extracted some parameters from the linear model and analyzed the changes of the nucleotides' distributions. In order to facilitate the comparison of DNA sequences, we proposed two ways to measure their similarities. Finally, we compared the six models by analyzing the similarities of the DNA primary sequences presented in Table 1 and selected the optimal one. Β© 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Comput Chem, 2007

## Abstract We present a forecasting model based on fuzzy pattern recognition and weighted linear regression. In this model fuzzy pattern recognition is used to find homogeneous fuzzy classes in a heterogeneous data set. It is assumed that the classes represent typical situations. For each class a
## Abstract On the basis of information on the evolution of the 20 amino acids and their physiochemical characteristics, we propose a new twoβdimensional (2D) graphical representation of protein sequences in this article. By this representation method, we use 2D data to represent threeβdimensional
## Abstract The **__Z\_inv__**, a new invariant based on 3DDβcurves of DNA sequence, which is simple for calculation and it approximates to the leading eigenvalues of the matrix associated with DNA sequence. The utility of our invariant is illustrated on the DNA sequence of 11 species. In this stud
