The cephalopod taxon Loliginidae (Cephalopoda: Myopsida) is a species-rich group of tropical and temperate shallow-water squids, many of which are commercial fisheries objects and neurophysiological research organisms. The worldwide distribution of these squids could make Loliginidae a useful case s

Abstract
The Z_inv, a new invariant based on 3DDβcurves of DNA sequence, which is simple for calculation and it approximates to the leading eigenvalues of the matrix associated with DNA sequence. The utility of our invariant is illustrated on the DNA sequence of 11 species. In this study, we use the Z_inv to analyze the phylogenetic relationships for the seven HA (H5N1) sequences of avian influenza virus. Β© 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Comput Chem 2007

## Phylogenetic relationships among members of genus Orchis and allied genera Aceras,
Concatenated sequences from the plastid-encoded RuBisCo spacer and nuclear-encoded rDNA ITS region of the Alariaceae, Laminariaceae, and Lessoniaceae as currently recognized were used to determine the phylogeny of kelps (Phaeophyceae). Our analyses indicate that all taxa in the Alariaceae, Laminaria
