โฆ Synopsis
Shorter Communications inertial forces is unable to explain the continuous decrease in thickness from the bath to the constant thickness film. Groenveld's viscous withdrawal theory (Re < 1, Ca > 1) does not have this limitation. Experimental results of van Rossum and Groenveld who used methods which prevented back flow are in agreement with the viscous withdrawal theory.
