โฆ Synopsis
Proper correction of angular light-scattering data for reflection effects results in agreement between determinations by light scattering and by sedimentation equilibrium of the molecular weight of rabbit myosin A prepared in the same manner. This leaves the question of molecular weight dependence on the method of sample preparation unsettled. Reflection corrections for angular light-scattering measurements by the more exact Tomimatsu-Palmer (T-P) method are compared to those by the less adequate Sheffer-Hyde (S-H) method.
