✦ Synopsis


Light scattering is frequently employed for the examination of colloidal particles. In recent years the advantages of working close to refractive index match between medium and particle have been exploited to examine particle diffusion in these systems. Particles composed of an outer shell of one refractive index and a core of another are frequently encountered and in this paper the form factor for these "concentric sphere" particles is examined in the Rayleigh-Cans-Debye domain close to refractive index match.
