Our objective was to develop parameters for objective ambulatory measurements of levodopa-induced dyskinesias (LID) in patients with Parkinson's disease (PD). Twentythree PD patients with mild to severe LID were submitted to a standardized protocol of 1-minute recordings during rest, talking, stress

โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
We assessed the 5โyear risk of levodopaโinduced dyskinesias by age of Parkinson's disease (PD) onset in a populationโbased cohort. The medical records linkage system of the Rochester Epidemiology project was used to identify residents of Olmsted County, Minnesota, with incident PD for the period 1976 through 1990. In this populationโbased study, the 5โyear dyskinesia incidence declined with age. With PD onset after 70 years of age, the incidence was 16%. With onset from 40 to 59 years of age, the incidence was higher at 50%. These incidence data may overestimate the functional importance, because patients with minimal or reversible dyskinesias were counted. ยฉ 2004 Movement Disorder Society

## Abstract The risk of developing levodopaโassociated dyskinesia is known to vary inversely with the age of Parkinson's disease onset. This study quantifies dyskinesia risks for different Parkinson's onset ages in a patient population treated at the Parkinson's Disease Research, Education, and Cli
Levodopa-induced dyskinesia can result in significant functional disability and reduced quality of life in patients with Parkinson's disease (PD). The goal of this study was to determine if the addition of once-daily ropinirole 24hour prolonged-release (n 5 104) in PD patients not optimally controll
## Abstract Involuntary upward and lateral eye movements are described in two Parkinson's disease patients who also experience levodopaโinduced chreoathetoid limb movements simultaneously. These brief deviations of gaze represent a rare ocular manifestation of dyskinesia and are similar to oculogyr
## Abstract We investigated the association between age at onset of Parkinson's disease (PD) and fertile life characteristics in 145 women. Linear regression analyses showed a significant correlation between age at PD onset and age at menopause (__P__ = 0.003), between age at PD onset and fertile l
