## Abstract Two high‐performance liquid chromatographic methods, one combined with a photodiode array detector (LC/UV) and another with mass spectrometry (LC/MS), were developed for the analysis of aristolochic acid I and II in herbal medicines. The LC/UV method was carried out using a Cosmosil 5C1
