Danisco researches intensely into climate improvement
Danisco is investing several hundred million Danish kroner in two climate projects with DuPont and Goodyear to reduce CO 2 emissions and the production of petroleum-based products. Danisco aims to be among the first to introduce a competitive technology for the production of biofuels and its enzyme division, Genencor, has entered into a jv with DuPont on the development of processes and plants for the production of second-generation bioethanol. Danisco and Goodyear will be working together on the production of rubber based on biotechnology rather than petrochemicals.
