A numerical study of conjugate natural convection heat transfer in an air-filled rectangular cavity has been performed. Results clearly indicate that the heat transfer rate is considerably attenuated in a partitioned cavity in comparing with that for nonpartitioned cavity.

An approximate solution for the problem of determining the laminar natural convection heat transfer between a vertical flat surface and a fluid whose rheological behavior is characterized by Ellis' model is found using an integral method. The results are in reasonable agreement with available experi
