## Abstract The efficient and rapid nucleophilic exchange of fluorine by fluoride‐^18^F ion in aromatic rings is reported here utilizing rubidium‐^18^F‐fluoride in DMSO on model compounds. Specific activities in the 3 × 10^4^ Ci/mol region are readily achievable. Nucleophilic substitution is shown

✦ Synopsis
The labelling of TX and TG with 35S has been performed by Moravek and Nejedly ( l ) , by isotopic exchange with elemental radiosulphur in boiling pyridine solution. The authors do not give any indications regarding the kinetics and the exchange yields. 2-Thio-uracil has been labelled only by synthesis in 1958 by Ziegler ( 2 ~.
We have done this study, aiming to find some simpler labelling methods than those described in the literature.

## Abstract The hydrogen isotope exchange of Brefeldin‐A with tritium gas (T~2~) in 1,4‐dioxane was studied over a commercial palladium catalyst supported on diatomaceous earth (5% metallic weight). The effect of the gas phase was studied. Addition of air in the gas phase led to an increase of the
