Direct /-type doubling transitions in the 06 = 1 state of CF379Br, CF3SIBr and CF3I have been observed using the technique of Fourier transform microwave spectroscopy in the range 4.5-8 GHz. The transitions covered a range of J values from 38-47 for both isotopomers of CF3Br and from 40-51 for CFaI.

The electron spin resonance spectrum of the trifluoromethyl radical (CF3) produced by the photolytic decomposition of CFQI has been observed at 4.2oK in xenon, krypton. and argon matrices. Complex spectra were observed in all cases and indicate that under these conditions the radical is randomly ori

The high-resolution (0.005 cm -1 ) Fourier transform infrared spectrum of PH 3 is recorded and analyzed in the region of the fundamental stretching bands, ν 1 and ν 3 . The ν 2 + ν 4 and 2ν 4 bands are taken into account also. Experimental transitions are assigned to the ν 1 , ν 3 , ν 2 + ν 4 , and

A high resolution spectroscopic study of a fast N,O+ beam reveals an l-type resonance in the 020 level of the A \*X + state. A value of 1.39 cm-' for the anharmonicity parameter g2, is obtained from a rotational analysis of the 020 \*A-O20 % transition. This is the first determination of the constan
