## Abstract A crystalline salt of prolinium picrate, C~11~H~12~N~4~O~9~, has been prepared and characterized by X‐ray crystallography. The salt crystallizes in orthorhombic space group P2~1~2~1~2~1~ with a = 6.325(1)Γ…, b = 9.269(1)Γ…, c = 24.379(4)Γ…, V = 1429.4(5)Γ…^3^, Z = 4. In the title salt, the
