## Abstract This chapter focuses on the role of graduate education in preparing future faculty members for engagement not only in the domain of discovery but also in the scholarships of application, integration, and teaching.
The authors describe a simple, costβeffective, and empirically supported program to increase faculty referrals of students to counseling centers (CCs). Incoming faculty members at 3 universities received a mailing and personal telephone call from a CC staff member. Faculty assigned to the outreach p
