A quantitative method is presented which utilizes differential scanning calorimetry for the determination of sulfathiazole Form I in the presence of sulfathiazole Form 11. Data are included which demonstrate that the method can be utilized to follow the rate of transformation of Form 1 to Form 11. T

β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
Experimental kinetic curves of anodic alumina isothermal transformations in the temperature 800β1200Β°C are given. The mechanism of transformation and the structure of transformation intermediate and end products are discussed. Oneβhalf period curves of monotropic isothermal transformation of amorphous anodic alumina in metastable Ξ³β, Ξ΄β, and stable Ξ±βphases are given.

Although enantiotropically related polymorphic transitions are thermodynamically reversible with temperature and pressure, they may be observed as either reversible or irreversible in practical investigations. This behavior may be explained simply by a difference in the energy barrier for the transi
