✦ Synopsis
The thermodynamic and kmetlc behavlours of alkah metal Ion transfer faclhtated by some crown ethers (18-crown-6, dlbenzo-18-crown-6, dlbenzo-24-crown-8) from water to mtrobenzene were studled by means of cychc voltammetry and Impedance measurement The results mdlcate that each crown ether forms complexes with the respective alkah metal catlons, of which stab&y constants are dependent on the sort of crown ethers and alkah metal catlons Moreover, the potential dependence of the rate constant of the faclhtated Ion transfer 1s sensltlve to the stablhty constant m the mtrobenzene phase
