Heinz Steinitz, the senior marine biologist of Israel, died of a sudden brain hemorrhage at the height of his pioneer work. A tireless enthusiast, he lectured on the future of Red Sea research the very day before his death. The theme of his lecture --as that of his entire life --was the basic duty o
