A method, based upon the approach of Kevorkian and Snoek, is presented for the numerical solution of n simultaneous non-linear equations in m variables (m > n) where any combination of n variables may be considered unknown.

It is known that the stress generated in an elastic material depends on the temperature distribution if the temperature field is not uniform. In such cases, it is necessary to carry out an analysis using a model taking into account the thermoelastic characteristics. In an actual problem, it is not u
## Abstract The ^1^H NMR spectra of naphthalene as an eight spin system, and two of its derivatives, 2,4βdichloroβ and 2,4βdinitroβ1βnaphthol, have been completely analysed. The Indor technique has been very useful in the determination of the signs and magnitudes of very small coupling constants. A
We study a one-dimensional tight-binding system with constant on-site potential and off-diagonal hopping integrals t binary valued, and distributed as correlated random dimers. An explicit transformation from the system with constant t reveals that not only all states are extended, but in addition o
