โฆ Synopsis
Isopiestic measurements have been carried out at the temperature 298.15 K for two saturated quinary aqueous solutions: (water + sodium chloride + glycine + sorbitol + sucrose) saturated with sodium chloride and glycine and (water + sodium chloride + barium chloride + sorbitol + sucrose) saturated with sodium chloride and barium chloride. Total molalities are within (12 to 17) mol โข kg -1 in the former case and within (7 to 12) mol โข kg -1 in the latter case. The results are well represented by the ideal-like solution model.

The osmotic coefficients of aqueous calcium chloride solutions were experimentally determined at T = 313.15 K by the isopiestic method. Magnesium chloride served as the isopiestic standard for the calculation of osmotic coefficients. The molality range covered in this study correspond to about 0.1 m
The activity coefficient data were reported for (water + potassium chloride + DL-valine) at T = 298.15 K and (water + sodium chloride + L-valine) at T = 308.15 K. The measurements were performed in an electrochemical cell using ion-selective electrodes. The maximum concentrations of the electrolytes
Isopiestic measurements have been carried out for the quaternary system (water + methanol + sodium bromide + ammonium bromide) with the mass ratios of water : methanol = 9 : 1 and 4 : 1 at the temperature 298.15 K. The results fit the ideal-like solution model within experimental errors.
The mixed aqueous electrolyte system of ammonium and sodium chlorides has been studied by the hygrometric method at the temperature 298.15 K. The relative humidities of this system were measured at total molalities from 0.3 mol โข kg -1 to 6 mol โข kg -1 for different ionic-strength fractions of NH 4
Activity coefficients of sodium bromide in aqueous mixtures of sodium bromide and sodium acetate were determined by e.m.f. measurements at T = 298.15 K and the total ionic strengths of (0.1, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0) mol โข kg -1 . The experimental results were fitted using the Scatchard-Rush
