## Abstract Three new bitter saponins, designated mabioside A, B and C, were isolated from the bark of __Colubrina elliptica__ and were determined to be 3‐__O__‐[α‐JL‐rhamnopyranosy]‐(1 β†’ 6)‐β‐D‐glucopyranosyl‐15‐__O__‐[β‐D‐ glucopyranosyl] mabiogenin, 3‐__O__‐[α‐L‐rhamnopyranosy]‐(1 β†’ 6)‐[β‐D‐gluc
