## A suppressor-containing strain of Mycobacterium smegmatis SN 2 was isolated by transferring an amber suppressor carried on the plasmid of Pseudomonaspseudoalcaligenes ERA through transformation. Amber mutants of mycobacteriophage 13 were isolated.
