## Abstract Ø KISR 1, a new bacteriophage of obligate methylotrophic bacteria, was isolated from a local pilot plant. The phage belongs to the __Podoviridae__ family of viruses characterized by a short non‐contractile tail and double‐stranded DNA. The size of phage genome was determined on the basi
