## Abstract __N__โ€acetyltransferase 1 (NAT1) and 2 (NAT2) enzymes catalyzing both deactivation (__N__โ€acetylation) and activation (__O__โ€acetylation) of arylamine carcinogens such as 4โ€aminobiphenyl (ABP) were investigated in a Syrian hamster model congenic at the __NAT__2 locus.
