The effects of some organic additives containing hetero-atoms on the charge-discharge characteristics of lithium have been investigated in propylene carbonate-or dimethylsulfoxide-based electrolytes. The addition of thiophene to propylene carbonate-based electrolytes improved the coulombic efficienc
