✦ Synopsis
The viscosity and apparent molar volume ofNaC1, NaBr, NaNO,, KCI, KBr and KNO,, at mass fractions of dioxane of lo,20 and 309/ have been studied at 30,35,40 and 45°C. The values of the A and E coefficients of the viscosity equation indicate ion-ion and ion-solvent interactions. The limiting apparent molar volume (V) and limiting slope (S,) is found to be different for different salts at different solvent compositions and has also been interpreted in terms of ion-ion and ion-solvent interaction.
