The ion-solvent interaction of N&I, KCI, NaBr, KBr, NaNO, and KNO, at mass fraction of dioxane (10, 20 and 3Oc)%kwater mixtures at 30, 35, 40 and 45°C & 0.01 has been studied using electrolytic conductivity data and Walden product. The ions appear to interact appreciably and the ion-solvent interaction is of the order NO; > Br-> c1-.

Conductance measurements are reported for several salts in binary aqueous mixtures containing up to 60 mole y0 sulfolane, 20 mole % acetonitrile and 20 mole % dimathylsulfoxida. The variations of R = (A$~o),/(A~qo), with solvent composition have been compared with those observed in other water-rich
