Chemiluminescence on the IF(B3no+ -t X '23 band system was observed in a flame composed of fluorine atoms. liS, and either 12 or CF31. It wds found that the chemihmiinescence is due to near gas kinetic resonant energy transfer from NF(b *P') to ground-state II: molecules.
