## Abstract We have demonstrated previously in primary cultures of mouse cerebellar granule cells (CGCs) that endogenously synthesized pituitary adenylate cyclase‐activating polypeptide (PACAP) contributes at least in part to the activity‐dependent survival of CGCs (Tabuchi et al. [2001] Neurosci.
