โœฆ Synopsis

The study concerns a very sensitive electroanalytical method, based on derivative chronopotentiometry of the chromium (111) complex with 2-(5'-bromo-2'-pyridylazo)-5-diethyl aminophenol (5-Br-PADAP) accumulated adsorptively on the surface of a hanging mercury drop electrode. The detection limit is 6 x IO-" mol/L for a preconcentration time of 6min. The mechanism of the electrode reaction has been investigated in detail.
