We apply a microscopic formulation to calculate the second harmonic spectra of Si(100) 2 Γ 1. We compare the calculated second harmonic radiated efficiency for several 2 Γ 1 reconstructions, with different dimer bucklings, with each other. Besides the surface-allowed E 1 , E 2 andE H 1 resonances, o
