✦ Synopsis

The properties and fractional composition of chitosan prepared by the suspension method and by solid-phase deacetylation of chitin under conditions of joint action of high pressure and shear deformations was studied. Elemental analysis, particle size distribution analysis, viscosimetry, potentiometry, and other experimental techniques were used in the study. The specific features of chitosan obtained by solid-phase extrusion were examined.

## Abstract Chitosan gel particles were prepared by the suspension evaporation method, and their fundamental adsorption properties have been investigated. The chitosan gel particles were spherical in shape, 150 ΞΌm in diameter, and had large macropores, about 2 ΞΌm in diameter, formed by the polymer

Several techniques exist that permit the efficient distinction among characterized DNA sequence variants. In this review we discuss a number of such analytic procedures. These techniques all take advantage of a variety solid supports to prepare and analyze reaction products. The described diagnostic
