✦ Synopsis
For the first time optical investigations of C 60 F 18 single crystals were carried out in the temperature region (300-4) K. Intensity of the obtained photoluminescence (PL) spectra has a strong brake near 100 K. At low temperature the clear fine structure of luminescence spectra is observed. The reflectance spectra have shown main changes for the energy about 4 eV (typical for p-p* transitions), and for E4 8 eV for deeper electronic levels.

We report optical reflectivity data for single crystals of C60 in the energy range 1.8-4.8 eV. A Kramers-Kronig analysis of the reflectivity spectrum yields an absorption spectrum similar to that of thin films of polycrystalline C6o. Based on the general features of the linear absorption spectrum, i
