โฆ Synopsis
In this paper from the deรฟnition of intuitionistic fuzzy sets we analyze the complementation in these sets. We begin by deรฟning the intuitionistic fuzzy generators and the particular cases for which this deรฟnition coincides with the fuzzy complementation. Afterwards, we study the existence of the equilibrium points, dual points and we present di erent characterization theorems of intuitionistic fuzzy generators. By means of these theorems we can generate an unlimited number of intuitionistic fuzzy generators. Lastly, we present a way of constructing intuitionistic fuzzy sets from a fuzzy set and the intuitionistic fuzzy generators. The deรฟnition of intuitionistic fuzzy generator and the method of construction presented leads us in a natural way to deรฟne (' 1; '2)-intuitionistic fuzzy sets obtaining from them, as a particular case, intuitionistic fuzzy sets. We conclude deรฟning the intuitionistic fuzzy complementations and seeing how these recover the fuzzy complementations. We also study the complementary of an intuitionistic fuzzy set from the intuitionistic fuzzy generators.

A definition of the concept โintuitionistic fuzzy setโ (IFS) is given, the latter being a generalization of the concept โfuzzy setโ and an example is described. Various properties are proved, which are connected to the operations and relations over sets, and with modal and topological operators, def
In this article we exploit the concept of probability for defining the fuzzy entropy of intuitionistic fuzzy sets ~IFSs!. The generalized ordered weighted averaging (GOWA) operators are a new class of operators, which were introduced by Yager (Fuzzy Optim Decision Making 2004;3:93-107). However, it seems that there is no investigation on these aggregation operators to deal with intuitionistic fuzzy or interval-valued i
