✦ Synopsis

The study of interference for two-component nonequilibrium chromatography previously developed, now has been extended to the three-component case. The influence of flow velocity variation due to adsorption has been taken into account. Tire expressions for the first and second moments have been obtained. They display clearly the interference between components, not only through the equilibrium and rate of adsorption, but also through fluid flow. The results obtained here are an extension of Ruthven's study for a binary mixture.
