A tunable diode laser spectrometer was used to perform measurements of absolute line intensities for 20 transitions in the vg-fundamental of propyne centered at 15.5pm. From these data, the vibrational band-strength SE was significantly determined to be SE= 196.8 f 6.0 cm m2 atm-' at 297 K. These re
