✦ Synopsis

Abstract

An ultracompact coherent receiver with negative feedback was developed for highly linear phase demodulation. The receiver demonstrates a spur‐free dynamic range of 122 dB Hz^2/3^ at a signal frequency of 300 MHz. ## Abstract A novel digital active homodyne demodulation scheme to eliminate the signal fading in interferometric fiber‐optic sensors is proposed. The error signal is obtained by the square‐wave phase modulation and then the digital correlation detection technique is applied to demodulate the low‐f
