โฆ Synopsis
Edible mushroom extracts inhibited 12-0-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (TPA)-induced ear oedema in mice. 'henty seven methanol extracts obtained from mushrooms were assayed and their inhibition ratios calculated. The methanol extracts of Russula delica, Mycoleptodonoides aitchisonii, Lactarius deliciosus, Naematoloma sublateritium, Lyophyllum decastes and Lyophyllum connatum markedly inhibited the inllammatory activity induced by TPA in mice. The methanol extract from Mycoleptodonoides aitchisoni was found to inhibit tumour promotion in two-stage carcinogenesis in mouse skin.
