Administration of 500 pg of DMBA to female mice during late pregnancy results in the occurrence of tumors in F, and F, generation individuals. F, progeny had a higher percentage of tumor-bearing individuals than the F, progeny. All the five litters of F, females displayed tumor risk but the risk dec

Abstract
The present paper reports the inhibitory effect of __Asparagus racemosus__on DMBA‐induced mammary tumorigenesis in rats of Holtzman strain. When virgin female rats, normal or primed with 17‐β‐estradiol treatment, are put on diets containing 0.25%, 0.5%, 1% or 2% Asparagus root extract powder prior to their exposure to DMBA, mammary tumor incidence shows a sharp decline.

The effects of sulpiride on cysteamine iyhibition of gastric carcinogenesis induced by N-methyl-N -nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine (MNNG) and on the BUdR labelling index of gastric mucosa were investigated in inbred Wistar rats. After 25 weeks of oral treatment with MNNG, rats received one of the following
The novel anti-estrogen EM-800 and medroxyprogesterone acetate (MPA) inhibit estrone (E 1 )-stimulated growth of dimethylbenz[a]anthracene (DMBA)-induced mammary tumors in a rat model. After 65 days, ovariectomy (OVX) decreased total tumor area to 9.6 ؎ 3.9% of initial size, while E 1 (1.0 µg, s.c.,
