T h e inhibitory effects of 1-isonicotinyl-2-isopropylhydrazine (iproniazid) on monoamine oxidase of dog liver is well known. This investigation sought to determine the monoamine oxidase inhibitory effect of this drug in dog spleen when injected intramuscularly and when added to spleen mitochondria in vitro.
