โฆ Synopsis
The infrared spectrum of crystalline nitrosyltricarbonylcobalt has b&n measured at different temperatures between 4OCO and 300 cm-' . Spectroscopic evidence shows that the form stable between the melting point and 248% has the same degree of disorder as the Iiquid. In the ordered form the uystaIs sizm to be mor~~cIinic, belonging to the C& space grdup. Assnming a CS site symmetr& and a C,n unit ceII symmetry the observed effects for the .ordered f&m I&w. been VeII interpreted.

Diatomic fluorine was reacted in a low pressure flame with selenium atoms, generated by a microwave discharge in argon seeded with Se 2, and the products were trapped in solid argon; new infrared absorptions were found at 677.0 and 680.4 cm-l for 8ยฐSe19F and 76selgF, respectively.
The infrared spectrum of gas-phase CsH in its ground electronic state has been observed using a diode laser spectrometer. The wavenumber of eight transitions of the u= l-0 band, twelve transitions of the u=2+ 1 band and six transitions of the r~=3+2 band have been measured with a nominal accuracy of
