✦ Synopsis

The spectra of both real and imaginary parts of the electric permittkty were obtained in the v,(OH) region for the hydrogenbonded complex of pentachlorophenol with acetonitrile in binary solution. The molar vibrational polarization related to this vibration was determined and compared with those of other systems.

The spectrum of the complex electric permittiviry was obtained in the v&OH) region for several weakly H-bonded systems. The molar atomic polarizations and atomic polarizabilities related to this vibration were determined and are discussed.
