✦ Synopsis

Abstract

The nests of birds examined were identical to those of the previous study (HUBÁLEK 1976) but the number of the nests of Black‐headed Gull (11 samples only) was lower. Therefore, the total number was 186 nests in the collection „A”︁ and 84 in the collection „B”︁. The methods of investigation were the same as applied in the preceding study; water content of the samples was estimated in duplicate or triplicate by drying the material 3 hours at 105 °C, and expressed on the wet weight basis.
