We report an electron spin resonance (ESR) study of the competing phases at the crossover from localized to itinerant behaviour on the polycrystalline Pr 0.5 (Ca 0.85 Sr 0.15 ) 0.5 MnO 3 compounds. From the temperature dependence of the ESR intensity, we derived the transition temperatures to charge
