## Abstract The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the effect of ubiquinone (coenzyme Qโ10) on total lipid and fatty acid composition of liver tissues in rats. Twenty male wistar rats were randomly divided into two groups. The first group was used as a control. The second group received u

โฆ Synopsis
The relatively insoluble drug, acetaminophen, administered as a solution and injected intraperitoneally in rats, has been shown to produce an antipyretic response. approximately twice that of the same dose administered as a suspension. This experiment indicates that EDw, LDw, and relative potency calculations may be inaccurately determined if dosage form influences on biological availability of insoluble drugs are not considered in the design and evaluation of animal drug testing procedures.

The aim of this work was to determine the role of intraperitoneally-administered vitamin E and selenium on the biochemical and haematological parameters in the blood of rats. Thirty-two adult male Wistar rats were used in this study. All rats were randomly divided into four groups. The ยฎrst group wa
The blood kinetics of carbaryl were followed over 24 h after oral administration of 14C-carbaryl at 20 mg k g (0.17pCimg-') in control animals and in animals with an altered liver function (70% hepatectomy or tranylcypromine treatment). The variations in the primary toxicity of carbaryl were assesse
## Abstract Na^+^โK^+^โstimulated and Mg^++^โdependent ATPase activities were investigated in the developing cerebral cortex, subcortical structures, and medulla oblongata of rats as was the effect of 24โhr lasting starvation and thirst on those enzyme activities. We found (a) a developmental incre
The influence of the structure of the hydrophobic group on the ideality of mixing in binary mixtures of surface active molecules has been investigated using combinations of amphiphilic penicillins. Critical concentrations (cc) of the binary mixtures of these anionic surfactants were determined by co
