β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
Zinc oxide thin films have been prepared via a solβgel process. The influence of annealing temperature on the structural and optical properties of the ZnO thin films has been investigated. The prepared ZnO thin films had a polycrystalline hexagonal wurtzite structure with no preferred orientation. The annealing temperature had a great effect on the optical properties of the ZnO thin films: the optical band gap became narrow due to the increase in crystallite size and the reduction in amorphous phase amount with increasing annealing temperature. Absorption or desorption of oxygen in the annealing process caused the observed yellow or green emission. (Β© 2006 WILEYβVCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)

In this work, ZnO thin films were prepared by sol-gel method and the effect of aging time of ZnO sol on the structural and optical properties of the films was studied. The structural characteristics of the samples were analyzed by an atomic force microscope and an X-ray diffractometer. The optical p
Using erbium acetate as an Er source, transparent ZnO films doped with Er were fabricated by sol-gel method through spin-coating on quartz substrates. The as-prepared ZnO:Er films were annealed in air at 400 β’ C for 6 h, at 600 β’ C, 800 β’ C and 1000 β’ C for 2 h, respectively. The ZnO:Er films exhibi
ZnO thin films were deposited on corning glass substrates by RF magnetron sputtering at room temperature. The dependence of crystal structure, morphology and optical properties on postdeposition annealing was investigated using XRD, AFM and UV-vis Spectrophotometer. The asdeposited films were amorph
