## Abstract The contribution of gastrointestinal tract (GIT), liver, and lung towards the first‐pass metabolism of acetaminophen was examined using 3‐week‐old, 10‐week‐old and 1‐year‐old rats after administration of 30mgkg^−1^ doses by intra‐arterial, intravenous, intraperitoneal, and oral routes.

Objective: The pharmacokinetics of brofaromine, a selective inhibitor of monoamine oxidase A, was evaluated in 12 frail elderly patients (66 92 y) and 12 healthy volunteers (20-35 y). Methods': Quantitative liver function tests were performed to show whether brofaromine elimination in the elderly co
## Abstract Hepatotoxicity of vinylidene chloride (1,1‐dichloroethylene, VDC) in rats was evidenced by increases of serum enzyme activities of the aminotransferases (GOT, GPT) and sorbitol dehydrogenase (SDH). Simultaneous treatment with ethanol (4.8 g kg^−1^ p.o.) totally inhibited these hepatotox
