Synopsis

It is supposed that the coercive force of an iron film can be evaluated by the value of the field at an extreme in the curve of the change of the electrical resistance as a function of the magnetic field. For the bulk material this supposition is approximately right at room temperature and this was tested at low temperatures. The coercive force is measured as a function of temperature down to liquid helium temperatures. The results are discussed in relation to the theory as considered by K i t t e 1 in 1949.

The influence of annealing under various temperatures on the temperature dependences of the electrical resistance RT of amorphous Fe 75 Cr 5 B 20 alloys has been studied. The dependences DRaR 0 f T a Y t a and the Mo รˆ ssbauer spectra of annealed samples have been measured as well. The results indi
